Hi, I’m Cami
I am a photographer, writer, and storyteller passionate about the intersection of creativity and daily life. As a photographer, I am interested in navigating connection- to to our surroundings and each other- through my camera. As a storyteller, I am drawn to the moments that make us most human. As a person, I am happiest when I am outside.
I take photographs of people and places from the mundane to the exceptional. The moments that interest me most are the ones in between what we are “supposed” to be paying attention to. My writing reflects on the questions I’ve encountered as a result of trying to be an active participant in life.
WHAT I DO
There are many places I have called home over the years and I am grateful to each of them for the ways the different landscapes, people, and cultures have shaped me. I currently live in the city of St. Louis, MO but am frequently traveling across the US and the world to visit friends and learn about new places.
WHERE I’M LOCATED
I create to experience the life I am living more fully. I create because it metabolizes my thoughts, feelings, and intuitions. I create because I have to; I share what I create because maybe it will be helpful to someone else too.
